In 2019, a public sector client contracted with Com-Strat to assist with a VoIP migration project. Impressed with the thoroughness of Com-Stat’s documentation, work effort and process they invited the firm to assist with an upcoming LAN-WAN-WLAN project.
The client’s local area network, wide area network and wireless LAN network were in need of an assessment of their remaining useful life. Factors such as the speed of market innovation, vendor end-of-life policies, product operating life and increased operating costs are requiring clients to properly assess the end of life (EOL) of equipment. Once complete, Com-Strat assisted in the development of a comprehensive RFP to secure the appropriate technology solutions and professional services needed to move the client to a modernized data network environment.
